Da Vinci Code

I saw the book The Da Vinci Code in the "likes" on facebook and an interesting thought struck me; you know how the secret societies involved tend to leave subtle, seemingly unconnected tips and messages to each other that appear completely forgettable and unnoticeable to outsiders?

In the same fashion, sometimes people connect in such a "secret society" way that only they can understand the seemingly unconnected, undirected messages to each other, and (very pleasantly) surprise each other by acknowledging them in a very subtle way. Slowly, these messages grow into an entire language, exposing those perfect gems of thought that no one else can understand, appreciate or even recognize.

In that manner, these thoughts are much like those entire societies of beautiful, angel-like, glassy, self-lighting creatures that exist near the bottom of the oceans. Most people don't even know they exist.
